Okay, the first thing you need to know is that God is a God of order. Which means, there are natural laws that govern this world. Whether we like these laws or not we are all subject to them. One of those laws is the law of gravity. We all know that what goes up must come down. There are seven more universal laws that I’m going to share with you that have to do with the laws of thought.
Leslie Householder has three great books; The Jack Rabbit Factor, Portal to Genius, and Hidden Treasures. Hidden Treasures explains all of these laws in detail. The Jack Rabbit Factor and Portal to Genius are stories that show you how the laws work in a person’s life. She shows you how these laws work in relation to making more money and living abundantly. Leslie can be found at www.rarefaith.org. I’m going to show you how these laws work in helping you to overcome anxiety and depression which is also living abundantly.
The first law is the Law of Perpetual Transmutation. This law states that energy is forever moving in and out of form. Everything in this world is made of energy, including you. An example of this, is water. Water is constantly going in and out of form. A puddle of water evaporates into vapor that rises into the sky which can then become a cloud, that cloud can then either fall as rain or could evaporate into vapor again. When it is vapor it hasn’t manifested itself into physical form yet.
Compare this to your thoughts. When you create something like a sculpture, it starts as a thought until you grab some clay and mold it into what you are seeing in your mind at which point it becomes physical. So, when we have a thought, we are creating it in our mind spiritually first. As we continue to believe that thought, it will eventually manifest physically unless we cast out the thought with our doubt. That is the law.
But wait, there’s more to this. Imagine you are holding an acorn in your hand. Is it able to grow into a tree in your hand? No. At the moment, it’s in a state of disintegration, it is slowly going out of form because it doesn’t have what it needs to grow. It needs to be planted in the ground where nutrients are drawn to it that will help it grow into a big beautiful oak tree.
My point is, if we plant a thought in our mind then, by law, what we need to create that thought will be drawn to us. We are not doing this alone. God is helping. Here’s how it works, close your eyes and visualize yourself exactly as you want to be. Imagine yourself completely filled with joy, able to look people in the eye and talk to them easily, able to speak your mind with confidence and high self esteem. Whatever you want to see. Then hold it in your mind and don’t only see it but feel it. Feel yourself becoming that person. Feel the gratitude that you are now this person. Do this daily and I promise you that, by law, you will become that person. You will receive inspiration on what you need to do and people and things will be drawn to you to create this new perception. The six other laws help explain how this works and help to make this more believable.
You also need to ask. God loves you and wants you to be happy.
John 16:24 says, “Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.”
See! He totally wants you to be happy and it’s important to ask in the name of Jesus Christ for what we need. He came to earth and lived a perfect life with no sin so He is truly the only one worthy to ask Heavenly Father for anything. That is why it’s good to start a prayer with Dear Heavenly Father and end it in the name of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 21:22 says, “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”
If we ask in faith, believing, we will receive it. And if we’re having trouble with the belief part, He can help with that too. Just ask that He will help you believe. It works! I’ve done it!
I’ll explain the second law in my next blog. These laws will help strengthen your faith in this. I promise!
