Did you know that your reality is shaped by what you think?  To put it another way, your thoughts create your reality.  To put it yet another way, the way you see yourself and everyone around you is a result of what you are thinking.

It’s no wonder Satan works so hard to fill your mind with negative, belittling thoughts.  I have learned over the years that when a spirit speaks to your spirit it comes into your mind as “you”.  As in, “That was so stupid.  Why did you say that?”  Or, “You are so fat.  Why would you wear that.”  Start paying attention.  You might be surprised to see how many thoughts in your head are not your thoughts.  When we think a thought about ourselves we use “I”.  Like, “Wow, I really should not have done that.”

When we hear a negative “you” thought enough times we tend to take it and repeat it in our mind as an “I” thought.  When we repeat that thought enough our subconscious mind begins to believe it is true.  This creates what we believe about ourselves.  That is why it is so important to push out those negative “you” thoughts as soon as they come into your mind.

When you begin to focus on your thoughts, and start pushing out the negative… It’s easiest to do that by putting positive affirmations about yourself all over your room and repeating them over and over.  Even if you don’t believe it, put words that you want to be.  I promise if you say them enough, you will become it.  That’s the Law of Thought.  I’ll explain more about that in my next blog.  Where was I, oh, when you begin to focus on your thoughts and start pushing out the negative, you will begin to notice that some of those “you” thoughts are positive.  That’s because the Lord Is there talking to you too.  He Is telling you the truth, that you are amazing, that you are dearly loved, and that you have a purpose!

The reason those negative thoughts can seem so much louder is because they are sometimes easier to believe.  Focus on those positive thoughts, surround yourself with them, and push out the negative.  Remember where they are coming from.  They are not yours.  You are sons and daughters of God who loves you and wants you to be happy.  Focus on the light.  What you focus on grows.  If you focus on the positive thoughts, they will grow.  If you focus on the negative thoughts, they will also grow.
